Why I like to Blog on Steemit

In the past few years, I’ve been actively blogging on Steemit in addition to maintaining a few WordPress blogs. I prefer blogging on Steemit because of several unique advantages:

Content Stored on Blockchain

On Steemit, all posts and comments are stored immutably on the blockchain. This means the content is not only persistent but also resilient to loss or censorship. Unlike traditional platforms where content could be deleted, either intentionally or due to server failures, the decentralized nature of the blockchain ensures that my writings remain accessible indefinitely.

Effortless Image Uploads

Steemit’s editor simplifies image uploads significantly. All I need to do is paste the image directly into the editor, and it seamlessly integrates into the post. This frictionless process saves time and effort compared to platforms requiring manual uploads or external hosting links.

Enhanced Search Engine Visibility (SEO)

One of the underrated benefits of using Steemit is its strong SEO performance. Posts often rank higher on search engines compared to traditional blogs. This is likely due to Steemit’s domain authority and the inherent public visibility of blockchain-stored content, which gives my work a wider reach and audience.

Curation and Author Rewards

Steemit’s innovative reward system allows me to earn STEEM tokens and STEEM Power through community upvotes. These rewards provide tangible value for my content, making blogging on Steemit not just fulfilling creatively but also financially rewarding. The incentive encourages quality contributions while fostering an engaging community of like-minded individuals.
