Recently, the game Pokemon becomes so popular that many people are walking down the streets catching the pokemon. As you walk and hold the smart phones, the screen display is on, and the battery consumption is higher than stay-by. Therefore, you will need to recharge your phones every 3-4 hours, which isn’t quite a good user experience.
You can turn on the ‘Battery Saver’ mode in the Pokemon, by following the following instructions:
Step 1 – Press the Ball Button
Step 2 – Tap on the Settings
Step 3 – Enable Battery Saver Mode
How does ‘Battery Saver’ work?
The following GIF (4 MB) demonstrates how it saves the battery consumption:
Basically, when the smart phone is detected facing down (running or walking without looking at the phone), the screen display will automatically be turned off, thus saving the battery.
