HPZ800 has been out for a while (actually it is an old Workstation/Towerstation in 2010). The default motherboard BIOS version was dated 3.56 released in Jan/2013 and the latest one we can get from the HP website is v3.57 which was released at July/2013.
Download the BIOS v 3.57 for HPZ800
You first need to sign up with HP website and search for HPZ800 BIOS download. Of course, you can also download a local copy here: https://rot47.net/9j
Extract the zip file
and you will have a few folders:
hpz800-bios-sp63463
navigate to folder HPQFlash, which contains a stand-alone application HPQFlash.exe
hpz800-bios-sp63463-hpqflash
If you double click the application, you might be blocked for security reasons:

To fix this error, you would need to run a command line console using Administrative Permissions (e.g. Run As Administrator).
net user administrator /active:yes
And you should see the message:
command completed successfully
Click start menu and right click your current user-account icon. Click Sign out (or the Administrator). After a while, you should be able to sign in the PC using local account Administrator.
Run the Flash
Now, you should be able to run the HPQFlash.exe without problems.
Just follow the instructions.
hpqflash-bios-1
Don’t turn off your PC and pray that the electricity won’t be cut off accidentally.
hpqflash-bios-2
hpqflash-bios-3
Restart the PC.
hpqflash-bios-4
And you should see the changes in version numbering at startup screen:
boot-screen-hpz800
Others
Run net user administrator /active:no as Administrator to deactivate the local Administrator account if you don’t need it.
You can also upgrade the BIOS using a burned-CD-ROM (*.iso) or USB-boot to DOS and run the utility at DOS. But the above approach should be the most convenient one. Also, you can F10 to BIOS setup and actually there is an option to update the BIOS from USB drive…
bios-flash
If you can’t find the BIOS update for your OS, you can refer to this: Flashing the BIOS of HPZ800 Server to 3.61 Rev.A
