Delphi XE8 – Installation and Delphi 2007 R2

I have raised a purchase order to purchase a license of Delphi XE8 and the company approves. The single license allows you also to download any single previous version so I choose Delphi 2007 because it is the last version that assumes string = AnsiString (non-unicode).

The installation did take a while. Because it needs to download setup files from the EMB website.
